Job description

We are looking for a highly structured and proactive Warehouse Manager who takes full ownership of operational planning, supplier communication, and internal team performance within our logistics and warehouse environment. This role combines analytical thinking with operational leadership. You will be responsible not only for coordinating warehouse processes, but also for negotiating with logistics providers, collecting and analyzing shipment data, planning future capacities, and holding both internal teams and external partners accountable for performance and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Long-term operational planning based on shipment volumes, inbound forecasts, and outbound capacity
Collection and analysis of logistics data to improve cost efficiency and performance
Requesting and comparing offers from multiple logistics and shipping providers
Conducting independent negotiations with external service providers
Developing negotiation strategies and cost-optimization initiatives
Monitoring shipment performance and defining measurable KPIs
Shift planning and workforce allocation within the warehouse team
Recruiting, onboarding, and performance management of warehouse staff
Ensuring accountability within the team through measurable targets
Building and maintaining B2B relationships with technical supervisors, service providers, and partner companies
Close collaboration with Purchasing, Fulfillment, and Operations departments
What you should bring:
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proven experience in operational planning and long-term forecasting
Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and manage logistics KPIs
Experience in supplier management and offer comparison
Leadership experience in shift planning and driving team accountability
Hands-on approach to recruitment and staff development
Ability to build and maintain reliable B2B partnerships
Fluent in Polish nad very good command of English (minimum B2 level) – mandatory
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Fully available for weekly business travel to the company headquarters in Rostock
